Myths of the Islands

As opposed to the northern zen mentality between life and death from our previous album, the stories from this album are based on the land where we were born and raised. The island has its own ancient memories, of its creation, the floods, and shooting down the suns... and in the deepest memories on those who lived on the island, gods and spirits co-exist, beasts and humans live together, the ocean brings life and prosperity, the land gives birth to flesh and flowers. All those stories intertwine to form the history of our island, sang from generation to generation, the unforgettable songs about our island. We've had the privilege to use the stories of our motherland as our creative source, and we hope more people are able to hear about these stories and legends about our land. Learn about the history of the island, is also the key to knowing ourselves.告別上一張專輯來自北方之國冷峭的生死禪意，這一張專輯的故事取自根植於我們生長土地的神話。我們生長於海洋之島，島嶼有它們古老的記憶，創世、洪水、射日⋯在島之人最深的記憶裡，神與靈共在，獸與人共好，海洋帶來生機與豐饒，土地長出血肉與花朵，那些故事如同織線織成島嶼的歷史，是吟唱在代代相傳之間、不能忘卻的島嶼之歌。我們有幸擷取這塊土地的故事作為創作元素，希望更多的人聽到島嶼神話傳承唱和的迴聲。認識島嶼的歷史，即是認識自己的開始。
