[00:00.211] When Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara was practicing the profound Prajna Paramita [00:12.696] he illuminated the Five Skandhas and saw that they are all empty [00:22.260] and he crossed beyond all suffering and difficulty [00:30.243] Shariputra [00:34.227] form does not differ from emptiness; [00:41.981] emptiness does not differ from form [00:47.030] Form itself is emptiness; [00:51.804] emptiness itself is form [00:58.189] So too are feeling, cognition [01:01.365] formation, and consciousness [01:05.635] Shariputra [01:09.626] all Dharmas are empty of characteristics [01:11.637] They are not produced [01:13.230] not destroyed [01:15.087] not defiled, not pure; [01:18.004] and they neither increase nor diminish [01:23.863] Therefore [01:26.515] in emptiness there is no form [01:27.310] feeling, cognition [01:29.436] formation, or consciousness; [01:32.106] no eyes, ears, nose [01:34.222] tongue, body, or mind; [01:36.878] no sights, sounds, smells [01:39.790] tastes [01:40.857] objects of touch, or Dharmas; [01:43.519] no field of the eyes up to and including no field of mind consciousness; [01:49.909] and no ignorance or ending of ignorance [01:54.420] up to and including no old age and death or ending of old age and death [02:03.187] There is no suffering [02:09.836] no accumulating [02:11.714] no extinction, and no Way [02:14.895] and no understanding and no attaining [02:22.596] Because nothing is attained [02:25.774] the Bodhisattva through reliance on Prajna Paramita is unimpeded in his mind [02:33.221] Because there is no impediment [02:36.402] he is not afraid [02:38.531] and he leaves distorted dream-thinking far behind [02:43.585] Ultimately Nirvana! [02:46.497] All Buddhas of the three periods of time attain [02:50.749] Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi through reliance on Prajna Paramita [03:02.222] Therefore know that Prajna Paramita is a Great Spiritual Mantra [03:10.460] a Great Bright Mantra [03:13.910] a Supreme Mantra [03:16.565] an Unequalled Mantra [03:19.493] It can remove all suffering; [03:23.733] it is genuine and not false [03:30.123] That is why the Mantra of Prajna Paramita was spoken [03:37.845] Recite it like this: [03:51.664] Gaté Gaté Paragaté Parasamgaté [03:59.121] Bodhi Svaha!
