(Lack of Confidence Kills) is the first studio album of Fat Nerdy Loser's, vocalist of underground hip hop duo Goodman Production known for its eccentricity and political satire. Staying true to his lighthearted character, Fat Nerdy Loser tells the story of his transition from being an insecure homebody to finding confidence through creating music. The album is thematically diverse, with the title and opening tracks, respectively, "L.O.C.K." and "Turn Cold Day," delve into everyday depression, while songs as "Just Another Tsau-Lang" and "Because of Certain Reasons" contain Fat Nerdy Loser's personal takes on relationships and related issues. Other songs and topics include "My Calling," a song expressing Fat Nerdy Loser's appreciation of his rap predecessors; "Nursing Home," a satire of the educational system; and "BANG! Lit!," which pokes fun at internet celebrities. During a time when lyricism is gradually being disregarded in Chinese hip hop, Fat Nerdy Loser resolutely adheres to his own style defined by clever rhymes and punchlines.
