Let me enter your eyes…」 In the midsummer of 2020, Peach Illusion release a Concept EP 「Let Me Enter Your Eyes」. The entire album is linked to a story, which is presented in the form of a comic book 「Peach Planet vol.1」 (Script by vocal Quanquan, Illustrate by Touyeye). The four song titles of the album A-side and B-side correspond to the four chapters of the comic book. "When you turn a blind eye to those broken pieces of your life story, it would escape to the heaven, to the moon, being a star. Only if you find it, it comes back to the earth, don』t leave you again.」 In the story, the peach girl and the peach boy had a time travel through a Mirror, counter-clockwise time and huge waves brought them to Peach Planet. They didn』t know there are peach elves living and sleeping inside the cocoon on trees of the planet, until one of the elves named Peach Ji waken up by them. Entering Ji』s eyes by its superpower, they see two sides of Peach Planet: all those cocoon of life common people bound, all those sparkling moment people chose to forget …Everything is the reflection of human world. Hint and cipher hidden in the songs, wish you will see.? ———————————————— Track List · A-side of peach planet 01-Mirror At the beginning of the story, we flew through a Mirror to Peach Planet. In the mirror, somehow we exchanged our faces to be one another, even though we didn't know those were our own faces. It is the first time two lead vocals appears in Peach Illusion's song (Quanquan and C.c), the peach girl and the peach boy dialogue with each other in music, and also dialogue with themselves. The dynamic drums played by Nayoung create an extension of space, and the connotative bass line presented by Xuejia become a soft and fertile land, a fabulous flower bloom in the land of Peach Planet, covered up with time and tides. What we can't see and reveal in this infinite Universe, what we lost and found, and what we cherish the most, all disappear in the wind with the shattering of a Mirror. 02-Let Me Enter Your Eyes In the title track Let Me Enter Your Eyes, we see the peach world with different eyes. When we try to find the answer, we know there is a key lying in the box of life. When we wait for an answer, the unlocked box lying quietly in our dream. Following the pace of wind, the flowing guitar riff and groove roll up the story and move on. Bot-monologue "Let me enter your eyes" is placed in the middle of the song, it opens our eyes to another side of our life: we break the cocoon, secrets and whispers hidden in the corner are lit up by stars, if we can make it as what we want, will you let me enter your eyes, standing together in the end of the story? · B-side of peach planet 03-Starless Night The lyrics consist of only four sentences. C.c plays the piano at night, Quanquan sings this song as a lullaby, they describe the image of Starless Night in language of Peach's favorite impressionist classical music. We ever waltzed on the lake, a paper boat took us with all the stars falling into a deep river, quintuple meter round and round...before the sweet dream ends, we were lying on the sea covered with moonlight. 04-Transparent Quanquan wrote Transparent and made a demo in 2016, Peach Illusion re-arranged and produced it four years later. The imagination of love from Quanquan's girlish eyes is combined with the picture drawn by Peach Illusion, the colors, voice and emotion gets brighter and more powerful. River in this song is a metaphor for love, we change our shapes underwater, we hug each other like waves, which is transparent, tender and strong. At the end of the song, the girl murmurs "Love me like a river, across the sea...", and the boy repeats "You love me, you love me..." · Bonus Track 05-I Love You in the way You Love Me (Cantonese) It is the second Cantonese love song written by Peach Illusion (composed by vocal Quanquan & produced by drummer Nayoung) after "Stranger Calls" released in 2019 full album "100%". Multiple shapes of love and imitative behavior in intimate relationship are expressed in this song. Love is such a mirror, we see each other standing on two opposite ends, 「I Love You || in the way || You Love Me」. It is what we learn from each other, how to love, miss, left and even hurt.
