The song is performed by acclaimed Taiwanese singer-songwriter Enno Cheng, recipient of Taiwan’s prestigious Golden Melody Awards. Fukada’s poem was adapted into Taiwanese lyrics by Hsieh Ming-Yu, the celebrated “poet-singer of Taiwanese,” while Lee Pei-Chin's delicate composition and Enno's clear, pure voice brought the song to vivid life. The title, “Loo-Pinn Khui-Hue,” means “flowers blooming by the roadside,” symbolizing the quiet feelings of the people who inhabit the story.
