There is a widespread belief among indigenous peoples in Brazil that the deceased should make a trip to reach heaven ... In many Amazonian tribes, it is believed that the dead become butterflies. According to the time of purification that they need, they delineate their form: The butterflies that purify themselves, soon become very bright with few hours of life; the ones that need more time are smaller, lighter and multicolored. Moreover, those that need a lot of time are bigger, heavier and with dark colors. They all fly from flower to flower, absorbing the nectar and strengthening themselves to carry their own weight when they rise to the sky, where they will live happily with all their ancestors. However, we do not always deal with death in its literal sense; it is often a metaphor for the internal processes of our personal development and evolution. It is necessary to "die" and "reborn" several times to raise higher and purer levels of consciousness. To quiet the mind and perpetuate the correct inner attitude is only possible through silence and reflection. The prelude begins with a constant arpeggio in "ostinato" in the piano, whose main theme returns with the counterpoint of the cello of Raïff Dantas Barreto, leading to the modulation of a new pitch, carried out by the touching melody of the violin of Pablo de Leon, concertmaster of the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of São Paulo. The trio of instrumentalists finally finds themselves in a sequence of fast "marcatto" movements, which lead to an arpeggio of the cello and counterpoint of the piano and violin, in repetitions until the closing of the theme.IMAGINARY BRAZIL, Corciolli's new album, will be available on all digital platforms on August 23, 2019
