The album “Miniaturas Brasileiras” – performed and produced by the cellist Raiff Dantas Barreto, 1st cello on Symphony Orchestra of São Paulo – is a tribute to great Brazilian classical music composers. Through cello duos, trios and quartets (all performed by Dantas Barreto), the musician invokes works of Heitor Villa-Lobos, Villani-Cortês and other major names, bringing to life songs inspired by Brazil and its sound richness.
